FLUAZIFOP

The Croatiakontrole laboratory has accredited a method for the determination of pesticide residues from the group of phenoxycarboxylic acids (clodinafop, haloxyfop, fluazifop and kizalofop) after hydrolysis.

Analysis of pesticide residues without hydrolysis cannot meet the requirements of Regulation (EC) no. 396/2005 on maximum levels of pesticide residues in or on food and feed of plant and animal origin, which prescribe the definitions of pesticide residues.

The definition of a fluazifop-P residue includes the sum of all constituent isomers of fluazifop and its esters and conjugates, expressed as fluazifop.

Fluazifop-P is an active substance in the formulation of a plant protection product used to control annual and perennial grass weeds (herbicide) whose use is permitted on oilseeds (soybeans, sunflowers, oilseed rape) and sugar beet.
