FOSFA

In the Republic of Croatia, we are the first certified inspection member of FOSFA, the international body for trade in oilseeds, oils and fats and an approved FOSFA laboratory.

FOSFA  ( Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Associations ) is a professional international body for contracting and arbitration in the world trade in oilseeds, oils and fats. It is present in 77 countries and has over 900 members (manufacturers, processors, shippers, traders, brokers, agents ,  control houses, analytical laboratories, shipowners, tanker companies and others.)

Phospha has a wide range of standardized contracts that include the delivery of goods under CIF, C&F or FOB for soybeans, sunflower, oilseed rape and other vegetable and animal oils and fats, and refined oils and fats. 85% of the total world trade in oils and fats is traded under FOSFA contracts.

We have been a certified  FOSFA Superintendent member since February 2001, according to which it performs inspections, tests, and quality control of  oilseeds, oils and fats , ie raw materials traded under FOSFA contractual conditions. The control house issues official reports and certificates related to the performed control or consulting services. As a FOSFA certified member, we accept and apply the “ Fosfa code of practice ” which ensures accuracy and impartiality in the quality control of goods and cargo according to Fosfa's sampling rules.
